Christine and family,
Mark was so encouraging! He always had something positive to say. I will miss him walking in late to meetings because he was coming from work. I will miss the calming effect his words had when a heated discussion happened. I will miss his e-mails and phone calls about Latino Heritage or Pasadena Latino Forum. Most of all I will miss his smile and the positive energy he had.

When I think of Mark and remember him (I hadn't seen him very much in the last few years) it's his amazing, ready smile always accompanied by his kind and positive words. He always had something nice to say to me, personally, and I know, to everyone he came in contact with. I'll never forget that trip to Germany one year (via London) that a number of us took together. There were lots of smiles and laughter and just a wonderful, positive time spent together. There's so much more that can be said about Mark and his lovely widow Christine, but I will allow space for others to post here. My prayers and thoughts are with you, Christine, and with your children. Also, with you, Angie, and your family who will miss Mark so very much. Much love, Marcia.
